Grandparents

Glenna and Lawrence had to wait longer than most to become grandparents, but nothing brought them more joy than their four grandchildren.

  1. Anneliese and David, we've been faithfully following the blog, what wonderful, beautiful people your parents were. I couldn't not comment on this post... these pictures are so touching and so heart-wrenching at the same time. These grandparents and grandkids deserved many more memories together. Devastated over your loss...

  2. Dr. Shapiro and I both had our first grandchild around the same time and granddaughters to boot! We compared notes and pictures and it was difficult to tell who was the proudest.
I knew Dr. Shapiro both as a nurse, while taking care of his patients in the hospital, as well as working with him at HSAG.
He was always a gentleman and loved his family first and foremost and never forgot about the feelings of others. I will deeply miss him both as a colleague and as a friend.
