  2. To all my Shapiro loved ones,
My heart is breaking for each of you. For 20+ years I have felt blessed by your friendship and I count myself as one of the many people who's life has been touched by your extraordinary parents. Each time I saw them they greeted me with a warm hug and a genuine interest in my life. They are such lovely people and I have admired their kindness and generosity for many years. They have certainly made the world a better place and given us all a beautiful example to live by. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I send my deepest condolences and pray that you'll find some peace and comfort in the days and years ahead. I know there is little we can do to help your pain, but please know Brandon and I are here if you need anything. Much love to each of you!

  3. Your parents will be missed by all of us in the Garrett family. Our gatherings at your home will not be the same without them and their presence will be missed for some time to come. Much love to you all. We think of you constantly.

  4. God bless you all and your beloved parents' souls. We pray that you each receive comfort and peace. Hugs & blessings

  5. Dearest David, Steven and Susan,
My sweet friends--I cannot pretend to understand the anguish you must be experiencing. My heart is aching for all of you and your beautiful little ones. Although it has been many years, I feel so blessed to have known your remarkable parents and been a recipient of their kindness and love. They are true examples of genuine goodness, and their legacy clearly lives on in each of you. Please know there are many prayers coming your way from Boulder. May the Lord bless you with an abundance of comfort during this trying time.
